This read me deals with certain things that you will need to know about 3B Jr.'s BarGraph Maker. First of all, what is it? The BarGraph maker is a program to help make graphs. This can be useful if you need a bar graph for a report, or practically anything. It is extremly easy to do this, actually. How? Read on...

1) What You Need
This was done on a Mac, so you'll need one of those. If you don't have one, you might want to get one, they're better than PC's. ;-) Anyway, I'm not sure what kind of Mac you need, but I made it one a Mac IIsi, so any computer would probably work. If not, sorry.
You'll also need another program called LogoMation. LogoMation is shareware and is well worth the download. LogoMation is a programming language, and the GraphMaker is written in it. Graphmaker was written using LogoMation ver. 1.1.1, but will work with 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 also. If you do not have LogoMation or don't have an updated version, you should get it. You will get a cool program and FREE updates of it.
Another thing. The file called BarGraph Data is very important . Keep it where it is, and do not change it or anything in it. Do not even change it's name, or the name of anything in it.
2) How To Make A Graph
Very simple. Double click the icon called BarGraph and you're in. The program will automatically start and a moving logo will come. After that, it will draw a graph and ask you "Number?" then type in the number of whatever. The program will the inquire as to the "Label?" Just type in what you want to call the number. The GraphMaker will then draw a bar of the right length with the number and label following. The program will end after either 9 bars or when you type in "done" when asked for the number. You now have a bar graph. But how do you use it?
3) How To Get A Graph Onto Another File
First, what do I mean? Simply that you can use it in another program, like a word processor, for instance. This can be useful as a visual. But anyway, onto how you do this. First you will need your graph. I'm assuming you've read the above section and know how to make a graph. You will also need FlashIt, which is a control panel. Now, press F11, or whatever yoou have set as the clipboard hotkey. Your cursor should turn into a cross. Now click in the bottom-left part of the screen and drag elsewhere. When you let go, everything inside the box that you just dragged out will be copied into the clipboard. Then just open the program that you want to use the graph in, put the cursor where you want the picture and paste it. I'm assuming you know how to use the paste option. And now, here is....
3.1) Another Possibility
Extremely simple. Go to the file menu and select Print. Command P also works. The graph will then print out. You do need a printer for this, though. NOTE: This is messed up for me, but it might work for you. I take no responsibility for anything bad that happens while trying to print. But you might want to try it anyway.
4) Distribution/Payment
This is freeware, and as such is free to give out. Two things: First, please keep everything as it was when you got it, with no files changed, etc. Secondly, although this is freewhere, a little money would be appreciated. I'm not asking for much, just a few dollars to show your appreciation and support for programs like these. Send to:

5) Stuff
This program was made by Yuval Shavit. Yup. As in LogoMation is by Yuval and Chuck Shavit. Yuval Shavit takes no responsibility for anything bad that happens, although he very much doubts that anything will. Send suggestions and/or comments to PopComet@TIAC.net or to me via mail at the address in Distribution/Payment. Also, keep an eye out for other versions of GraphMaker. I plan to send out a PieGraph Maker soon. If you do mail me (not E-mail), please inform me if you have internet access and, if so, what your on-line address is.
